Photmatix Exposure Fusion Method - I read that if you have a neutral density filter applied it is supposed to help with the contrastiness. Not sure about this because I read somewhere else that it doesn't matter. Either way the differences in high contrast appear to make these "fusions" look a little funny. This could possibly be fixed in first pass RAW processing.
